- How to install PasTeX from CD-ROM?
-
- For a first test of TeX, you don't have to copy any file
- from CD-ROM to your hard disk. Simply start "QuickInstall"
- and all assigns needed will be set. Now add TeX:bin and
- MF:bin to your path and start TeX'ing.
-
- If you want use TeX more often, start the "InstallHD" script.
- This script needs the Commodore Installer. The "InstallHD"
- script copies all needed programs/files to your hard disk.
- But you don't have to copy all pk-fonts on your hard disk.
- If you use fontcaching, you only have to set the PKVol assign
- (assign PKVol: pk pk/180x180 pk/300x300 pk/360x360)
- and ShowDVI/DVIprint will copy all 'really' needed fonts to
- your hard disk.
